Terms of Service

Effective date: July 6, 2026

These terms govern your use of the Inspectionly website (www.inspectionly.ca) and the booking of our home inspection services in Ontario. By using the site or booking an inspection, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

In these terms, “Inspectionly,” “we,” and “us” mean Inspectionly, operated by Aamir Yaqoob. We provide residential home inspection services across Ontario, performed by an RHI certified home inspector (OAHI member, InterNACHI, E&O insured).

2. What a home inspection is — and isn’t

A home inspection is a visual, non-invasive examination of the readily accessible systems and components of a home, performed at a single point in time. It is not:

  • a guarantee, warranty, or insurance policy on the property;
  • an appraisal or a statement of market value;
  • a code-compliance certification;
  • an invasive or destructive investigation (we do not open walls, dismantle equipment, or move stored belongings);
  • a substitute for specialist evaluation where the report recommends one (for example, a licensed electrician or structural engineer).

Conditions can change after the inspection date. Areas that are inaccessible, unsafe, or concealed on the day of inspection are excluded and noted in the report.

3. Booking, pricing, and payment

Prices shown on this site are starting prices; the final quote depends on property type, size, and selected add-ons, and is confirmed before your inspection. Payment is due as invoiced. Booking online does not require a credit card.

4. Cancellations and rescheduling

Plans change — cancel or reschedule any time at no charge.

5. Your report

Your inspection report is prepared for you, the client, for the property and transaction it was ordered for. It reflects the property’s condition on the inspection date only. You may share it with your advisors (lawyer, lender, contractor), but it may not be re-sold or relied upon by third parties — anyone else involved in a transaction on the property should obtain their own inspection.

6. Limitation of liability

We perform every inspection with professional care, consistent with recognized standards of practice. To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, our total liability for any claim arising from an inspection is limited to the fee you paid for that inspection. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

7. Website content

Articles, guides, risk scores, market data, and other content on this site are general information for Ontario homeowners and buyers — not advice about any specific property. Data-derived figures (risk scores, market statistics) are estimates based on available data and are provided as-is. No content on this site creates an inspector–client relationship; only a booked and performed inspection does.

8. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the site: no scraping at scale, no attempting to access administrative areas, no submitting false bookings, and no use of site content to train or populate competing commercial products without permission.

9. Intellectual property

Site content, reports, the Inspectionly name, and our reporting system and methodologies are ours. Your report is licensed to you for your personal use in your transaction.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Disputes will be resolved in Ontario courts.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; the version posted here with the latest effective date applies. Material changes will be highlighted.
